Roufia Payman, CDN and Nutrition Counselor, is Supervisor of Outpatient Nutritional Education at Northern Dutchess Hospital. Mrs. Payman is a Certified Lifestyle Coach for National Diabetes Prevention Program and leads the Diabetes Prevention Program. She is also the instructor for the New Leaf Program, Get Real Weight Results Program, Fun Food and Fitness Program and the Bariatric Support Group all through the Rhinebeck campus. Roufia also sees outpatient clients. Ms. Payman has also worked on several healthy community initiatives including program changes within the Red Hook, Rhinebeck, Hyde Park school systems and Anderson School for Autism. She is also has been a guest columnist for Hudson Valley Parent, Health-Quest Facebook page for several different nutrition topics and the Poughkeepsie Journal. Roufia has also been a quest speaker for the local Red Hook Library, Healthy You American Heart Association, and Marist College center for Lifetime Study, Bard College for Lifetime Study and SUNY New Paltz Center for lifetime Study.
