Mimo is originally from Guinea, West Africa and has traveled the planet as a lead dancer and performer with the national troupe Les Ballets Africains for 18 years. After emigrating to the Hudson Valley in the 1990s, he and his wife Pam Lord Camara began teaching dance and drum classes and performing in a variety of schools, camps, and venues.
