Geri-Ayn grew up in New Paltz, NY but moved to San Francisco in 2003 to attend grad school. Instead of finishing her degree however, she founded a health care technology company. Over the next 15 years, she grew the business to include clients such as the largest health system in California, NASA Ames Research Center, One Medical, and other start-ups at the forefront of the health tech industry. She sold the company about 10 years ago and moved back to the Hudson Valley. She still dabbles in freelance tech work, but now mostly enjoys gardening, crossword puzzles, and dogs — all dogs in general, but especially her beloved 13 year-old Staffy Amira.
