Featuring Callie Mackenzie for your entertainment!
Callie Mackenzie has been playing piano and guitar since a young age, Callie was always interested in performing – participating in school chorus, chamber singers, musicals, and performances through the local school of music. While raising 2 children, earning her master’s degree, and working in nonprofits and social movement spaces, Callie’s music was limited to playing her guitar around the campfire. In 2020, Callie began writing music again to deal with her feelings about the state of the world, and she started participating in open mics in the Hudson Valley. She left her nonprofit job in March 2022 to focus on abolition from a different perspective – healing, joy, and community – as a performing musician and artist. For links to her music and more, check out her website: https://www.calliemackenzie.com
Please let us know if you are coming so we can prepare.
